WCS - Rouge Detection

Does the WCS v5x have the ability to detect Rouge APs? Also, if yes, does the WCS have the ability to generate Rogue Reports? We're looking to fully deploy WCS within our Autonomous AP fabric. However, the information we seek, will play a critical role to our decision. Lastly, we're not planning to upgrade Autonomous APs to LAPs. That will be a costly proposition. We have have close to 900 Autonomous APs.

The WLC can detect Rogue APs and the WCS just use the data the WLC sees.

I have no idea how many LAPs you have but WCS cannot detect Rogues from Autonomous AP. If you have, say a 100 license WCS, why not convert only 100 autonomous?

I think Leo just hit the money shot with that suggestion. Convert 100 aps and you have your (overlay system) at little cost. Other wise your other option is an Airtight / Airmagnet overlay.
