topic WCS email notification in Wireless

Is there any way to include just a certain access-points to trigger email notification, for example when AP goes down (critical). There is hundreds of access points in my network, but only half of them are critical This is problematic, because outside office hours, these notifications are sent to helpdesk and they cannot know, what access-point is critical or not and there is an eccessive amount of notificatoins from non critical access-points.

I am using WCS version 4.2.

- Marko Tuhkunen

You can find the steps for email notificaiton located here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/wcs/4.2/configuration/guide/wcsevent.html#wp1132779

Alarm Emails

The email notification filter window allows you to notify a network operator when an alarm occurs. The severity level is set to critical by default when the alert category is enabled for email notifications, but you can choose a different severity level for the different categories. Email notifications are generated only for the severity levels that are configured.

Step 1 Choose Monitor > Alarms.

Step 2 From the Select a command drop-down menu, choose Email Notification and click GO
