3802 lwapp not broadcasting SSIDs

Am currently replacing old 1242 lwapp access points with 3802i access points and a 5508 and 2504 controller to support them. The two controllers have been brought up with 1 access point for each one of the controllers. The access points join the controllers and everything is showing up, but the broadcasting SSIDs can not be seen

Did you check the radio bands

Did you check the radio bands (802.11bgn & 802.11anac) are ON in your WLC ? Also check "Broadcast SSID" option is enable under WLAN configuration

Still no success, pls post below output from your WLCs to check

1. show sysinfo
2. show wlan summary
3. show ap config general <ap_name>
4. show advanced 802.11a summary

Hello,

Is the SSID configured to use TKIP? Please note that TKIP is not supported yet with the 3802 AP's. If this is configured, the SSID will not show up. Please see the below link with more info:

I Ran into the same issue today. We use WPA+ TKIP for the client radius authentication. We Deployed new 3802 Access Points, and faced the same issue. new wave 2 access points(1800/2800/3800) doesn't support tkip
