topic Can't associate with second SSID in Wireless

I am in the process of configurating a secure and unsecure wireless network. One SSID is in vlan 204 and the other in vlan 9. I have set the second one up as SSID in Guest mode and selected multiple BSSID. I can see the AP is broadcasting both SSIDs but I can't associate with the second SSID.

What did I fo wrong?

Mike Williams

If you can, please post your configuration so we can see what might be misconfigured.

If I had to guess based on the symptom, your security is probably misconfigured. Did you include the "authentication open" command? This is needed even on interfaces with no security.

Her eis my config. Looking at what I have set up, I believe it states open for both SSIDs. Even though I can see I am braodcasting 2both SSIDs. The seconds one texans-secure,seems like it never trys to connect.

Thanks

mike

Hmmm... I see that you attached a file, but I don't see the file 😕 Want to try attaching it again, or maybe just copy/pasting it?
