I have a 2500 Series Wireless controller. I have everything configured and have 2 AP working right now. But i need to know how to enable the 5GHZ settings on it to connect through the 5 and 2.4. Thank you for your help in advance.

If the WLC was first configured using the automated Startup Wizard, 2.4 Ghz & 5.0 Ghz should be enabled.

Hello. My experience was with some 2702i APs which are called "Universal" AP's. You need to first tell it what "county" you are in so it will know what power to give to the 5Ghz range. They call this "priming the AP" and you won't be able to enable the 5Ghz without doing so. You can do this by using an app on your phone (along with a CCO account) i think called "air provision" . You setup and connect to a ssid that has the AP you want to configure. Sign into your CCO through the app and if any luck it succeeds. Once you prime the first AP other universal APs you add later the APs will auto provision themselves over the air from the primed AP and you are good to go.
