can not connect from wireless controller to switch

I have one WLC 5508, i set Interface management on port 1 and we have 3 port remaining on controller to use. I try to connect from Management interface to switch but it is not have any connection to switch. I only connect from AP to Interface. i would like to ask for your support. thanks

Don't make sense. 5508 has 8 SFP ports. So far, you've mentioned 4 ports. Where's the other 4?

How are you configuring the ports?

And what do you mean the ports are not working? How are you connecting the WLC to the switch? If it's fibre SFP, what wavelengths are you using?
