Just unboxed my first new 3700 AP. Fired it up and it doesn't appar to like my controller. Anyone have any suggestions?

The release notes (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/3700/quick/guide/ap3700getstart.html#wp41694) say code ver 7.5.0.0, but I am beyond that at 7.5.102.0. Somehow, I think a code upgrade is still in my future!

What code is the WLC 7.5 ? 3700 require 7.6 code ..

Just confirmed with the Cisco guys, thats a mistake. 7.6 code is needed, 7.5 not supported with 3700.

Hi Wes,

Talk to TAC & get a pre-release 7.6.x code & check this AP registration again..

There may be a chance this AP get corrupted since it was connected to a controller image which is not supported.(but you should be able to recover it)
