Hi

Read exam objectives then study those topics. It's good to find multiple sources for each object to get perspective

Read respected design guides.

Also Jerome Henery has CCNP wireless books which are great, but not your typic Cisco press size book.

CCNP Wireless

I'm starting the path to CCNP Wireless. The test has recently been revamped and like a lot of new Cisco Certification tracks the test comes out before a decent amount of material. What would someone suggest to start this process while there is not a lot of material ?

thanks!

Hi Josh,

If you haven't take CWNA,I would suggest you to go through that study guide & cover the basics of wireless in general.

Then try to setup a small home lab with 1 or 2 WLC & few APs to gets hands on experience while studying for your CCNP wireless.

Even current CCNP wireless /CCIE wireless blueprints are 3-4 years old. This means those are due for another refresh within 1-2 years. So getting wireless fundamentals right is the most important thing on this journey.

Here is some of my notes which may useful to you in long run (if you want to be CCIE wireless or CWNE)

1. http://mrncciew.com/2014/10/23/free-cciew-study-material/
2. http://mrncciew.com/2014/10/04/my-cwap-study-notes/
3. http://mrncciew.com/2014/09/13/how-to-study-for-cwsp/

HTH

Rasika

**** Pls rate all useful responses ***
