topic Wireless Bridging in Wireless

Hello all,

I have a 2602e AP with an AIR-ANT2544v4M-R antenna on one end. On the other end I have a 1532e access point. I've tested these out side by side before hanging them and they associated fine. However, now that they're on the roof, they're not associating.

On the 2602e side, the dot11radio 0 shows up/up. On the 1532e side, the dot11radio 0 shows reset/down.

* I must mention that the 1532e is being powered up by a AIR-PWRINJ4 injector (not the normal one, but still works).

I'm confident that my bridge configs are good, so i'll move on to the switch port configs.

2602e is connected to a 2960s:

switchport vlan 888

1532e is connected to an 871:

172.16.11.34 (its a routed port and is the gateway)

My 1532e BVI is configured for 172.16.11.37.

The bigger question for me is can a dot11 association be effected by the switch configs not matching on the same end (spanning-tree?) Should I keep them in the same vlan?

Thanks,

Bobby
