Wireless device cant detect network

Hi All

I have a test lab setup. I have a uk connection and a German connection.

UK-BO = UK

DE-BO =GER

Now I have 2 laptops and both laptops can see both connections no problem.

However I have a tablet. The tablet can see the UK network but not the Germany network. I have tried bouncing the German interface.

I have also tried adding teh network manually on the tablet and resetting to factory default aswell.

I have atteched the config tro see if the wireless guru's may see somethoing in the channel configuration

Try disabling the 5ghz and see if the device can join on the 2.4ghz or set the channel manually on the 5ghz radio.

No... Disable the 5ghz radio for testing.

tried shutting dowen the 5Mhz radio still no joy. I e3ven tried the reverse of shutting down the 2.4 and keeping the 5 up

that didnt work either

I would test with another device. It might be a problem with the tablet.

Try to set the SSID to open with no WPA2/AES and see. That will tell you if maybe that the device has an issue with WPA2/AES.

I resolved the issue by changing the config of the 5GHZ radio

under interface dot radio 1

I added

antenna gain 0

spped range

channel 5520

The tablet can now see the german wifi
