Let’s take an example, I have run the report today i.e. 1st of January; I know what is the present status of my devices i.e. when they were last rebooted. I am going to run another report on 30th Jan, which would tell me the time since they were last rebooted again, but what if the devices were rebooted several times during this period. Even if we run such report everyday it wouldn’t give us the precise uptime, what is your opinion about it?

Mayank

There has to be some MIB on the WLC which would generate the desired results on polling …

It will prove to be very expensive to me as I have to dedicate licenses for each AP on my NNM which is impractical and nullifies the deployment of other Wi-Fi specific monitoring appliances.

Regards,

Mayank Nauni

Hi Mayank,

Did you manage to get the availability report? I have the same issue except that I have 360 sites with each site having 100 to 200 APs. Tabulating multiple reports for all these sites as suggested in this post is just not scalable.

Thanks and appreciate the response.

Ps: Raise a TAC case as well with not satisfactory answers.
