Maybe it's just a coverage hole there.

Best regards,

Sebastian

wireless roaming

We currently using autonomous ap's (1130-1230) and I've noticed that the when the client roam's from one ap to another they only drop 1 or 2 seconds but sometimes the client needs to re-authenticate dropping around 7 seconds. I'm wondering how does the ap know when a client is roaming and when it needs to re-authenticate? We don't have any of the access points configured as a wds ap so I'm not too sure how it does this. Also is there any way to decrease the roaming time without going to a controller based solution?
