Redundant Wireless links

i'm in the process of investigating on redundant wireless links. the case is, i have two wireless antennas each of them on different network and serving two different areas. is it possible to let one of the antennas to take over if the other one fails?

I am going to include two parts to my relpy. If you are asking if the two antennas on your AP can be configured for redunancy this is not possible. Two antennas on an AP are simply for diversity...

Now if you ment having two APs at each location, then what yourt looking for is "hot standby".

i meant the other part, where we have two APS at each location with two different network IPs. as you metioned the solution is a "hot standby", but how can i configure it on cisco 3750? + if you could help me in finding a resource where i can find more clarification on wirless and how to configure it?

The controllers i do not have much experience in so i had to go out researching via google and cisco's internal and forum search function. It first appears that the controller doesnt support hot standby for the APs themselves but rather increases the APs power around them.. However again this is just some brief research i did and may be incorrect. If you dont recieve an answer open up a tac and they will be able to tell you for sure.

Sorry i wasnt more help.. If you end up using some ap's outside of the controller you can find the Hot standby setttings by using the GUI and clicking on "services" then the 2nd option is 'Hot Standby'.

Some sort of redundancy you can get for lets say a location with a single AP with non-root status. If its surrounded and within coverage with multiple Access points or root briges it will always connect to only one of them and seek another if one fails. Be sure to have the same infrastructure ssid on all access points.

If you add another AP on the same location for true redundancy also here i bellieve it could be done, but be aware of loops. Trunk ports on Cisco switches could be configured to take care of this. Dont ask me how:)
