      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Virtual dot11radio interface is a virtual interface created by IOS for bridge and repeater communication. When a repeater or bridge tries to associate, the AP/bridge brings up the virtual dot11radio interface. When all repeaters or bridges disassociate from the AP/bridge, the AP/bridge brings down the virtual dot11radio interface. At the same time, the AP/bridge logs the message.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is a common problem on Aironet Extension. If you enable Aironet Extension, Cisco AP/bridge may misidentify other vendor equipment as a repeater. If you do not have repeater or bridge and you do not use Cisco propietary feature, like CMIC, CMKIP, CCKM, or etc, you should disable Aironet Extension.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your help. This is interesting and it leads to more questions. The majority of of my wireless clients in this area are 350 series work group bridges. We use these for printers and attach a single HP jet direct box behind each WGB. The Jet Direct boxes do appear as repeaters on the association page and disappear when I disable Aironet extensions. I do notice that after I disable extensions and do a show interface, I still see several sub interfaces. See below. Is it normal to still see a sub interface for every WGB?
