Extend your wireless LAN

Hi,

We've got two AP1200 in our company.

We have a small building outside our company (250m) where we want to have access to our LAN.

In this small building we have some printers and PC's.

How can I have LAN access in this building? But I can't use wireless adapters in the printers, so a repeater won't work I think !?

Anyone got a solution?

Use a Cisco Workgroup Bridge in that building. It looks like a client to the 1200. You may need a directional antenna on the WGB. The WGB only supports 8 devices. If you need more also install a soho router like a linksys and put the PCs on it.

The new 1300 AP/Bridge will operate as a workgroup bridge, runs IOS, and costs the same as a 350 WGB. There's no reason to be looking at a 350 any more.

So to have full ethernet LAN access in this building (provide by wireless Aironet 1300 who gets it from our AP1200)

I've got to have an

- Aironet 1300 configured as a WORKGROUP bridge.

- An Cisco Aironet Power Injector AIR-PWRINJ-BLR2

Or is all above included in Cisco Aironet 1300 Series Outdoor Access Point/Bridge with Integrated Antenna - AIR-BR1310G-x-K9 ?

- And an additional switch connected to the Power Injector??

Is this correct ??
