I currently have a Cisco wireless LAN solution engine that is reporting several

"FCS Error is in Overloaded state" messages on several access points. and also

"Packet Error is in Overloaded state" These error messages will be followed by another message stating the Packet Error and FCS Error is in an OK state. Can anyone tell me what this means.

This seems like it may be a switch issue opposed to an AP issue. Basically the message is stating that there are too many packets that have bad check sums and they are being dropped. Read over the following link to see if that helps out.:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/53.shtml

We believe the high number of FCS errors on the APs reported by the WLSE is typically related to non-harmful signal propagation errors (signals bouncing around). If your utilization is OK and if none of your end-users are complaining, I would recommend disabling this fault threshold.
