Lwapp discovery request rejected

I am getting Discovery request decoding with subnet broadcast and wrong AP IP address as the error on my WLC controller when my AP tries to join. The management interface is on 172.16.0.253 port 1. Port 2 is my other side of the network which is 172.16.1.253. The APs are on 172.16.1.x/24 and have all recived IPs from my dhcp. Port 2 is on the same switch as my APs but they will not join. Any thoughts?

AP join request should go to WLC management IP address. What WLC model you got (2504 ? )
