I am presuming IP Address 10.169.148.29 is the Management IP Address of the WLC.

Hope this helps. Please rate when helpful and/or applicable. Thanks.

Hi Sameer,

"Command is disabled" would mean that the LAP is running the LWAP IOS. The command is valid only when the LAP is running on the RCV image. Delete the LWAP image and boot from the RCV image and try again.

Do you have a firewall running? There are certain ports that need to be opened from the FW to allow LWAPP/CAPWAP traffic to pass.

Make sure the WLC's time is synchronized to an NTP source.

You'll need to investigate why the LAP can't ping the WLC Management IP Address even if it's plugged to the same VLAN ... maybe the DOT1Q trunking doesn't allow the VLAN to traverse?
