large pings fail over Layer 3 LWAPP when RAP's are connected over WAN (Internet)

also cannot browse sites etc.

The RAP's join and clients can get IP adress from DHCP server, but cannot ping over 1399b to default gateway.

Layer2 seems OK - 10-20ms latency

tested on 4.0.179.11, 4.0.209, 4.1.171

using 1242, and/or 1510's

40-70ms Latency to Wism from AP.

Any Ideas

Try pinging 3 or 4 times. If it works fine then try upgrading to 802.11 g technology and also take care of number of users sharing the network.
