Clear WLC 4404 Crash Dump

Is there a way to clear the crash dumps on a WLC 4404. I have reset the unit to default and still see the crash dumps listed. Is there another way to clear these dumps off the controller?

Unfortunetally not, but there is a bug filed for this. Have a look at: CSCsq88010 from our Bug tool kit.

It is open since 5.0 release on the WLC.

Actually I have discovered how to clear the Crash Dump files. On boot of the 4404 press the 'esc' key when

prompted. You can there clear the config of the controller. This clear function will erase the crash dump files.

Thanks Christopher, Yes but handle with care, that will clear everything on the WLC. So if WLC is in production and the aim is to clear only the Crash dump then this will erase everything on the WLC.

To only delete crash file on WLC need to stay tuned to the bug aka feature request I posted earlier.
