how to configure Cisco AIR-AP1242AG-N-K9

Hello everyone!

i have a Cisco AIR-AP1242AG-N-K9 accesspoint and i want to configure it.

i am fed up of checking all the help guides and trying different methods like,connecting via Ethernet to serial port to access it through web browser and also connected through console port to access it via putty.

but still i am unable to go through it,can any one help me to get out of this so that i can be able to configure the accesspoint?

Pls share "show version"

Pls share "show version" output from your AP. Also attach "show run" output as well.

Also what are your requirements ? Do you simply need a wireless SSID to be configured or anything else ?

Try to default the ap by

Try to default the ap by holding the mode button down for 30 seconds and powering up the AP. Release the mode button after 10 seconds and then you should be able to follow the guide mohanak provided

Please help how to Factory reset this AP ?

1: After active user mode

button pressed for 22 seconds
process_config_recovery: set IP address and config to default 10.0.0.1
process_config_recovery: image recovery

ap:
