1242 WGB connection to a MESH network

Hi all,

I have a WGB (1242) which is jumping around to different MESH 1522 AP's.

Is it possible to configure the 1242 only to connect to the nearest MAP?

He is always jumping to MAP's and RAP's which are more fare away with a very bad signal; Don't know why he's doing that.

Perhaps it's possible to configure the standalone 1242 only to connect to one MAC....?

Thanks in advance.

Stephan

well the reason why the WGB

well the reason why the WGB roamed to another MAP is because the WGB thresholds exceeded for the cuurent MAP ,

you can configure WGB mobile parameters parameters to increase these threshold so the WGB will remain connected to the current MAP longer, but i don't recommend to restrict it to one MAP , let it roam if it find better link connections ,

#mobile station period 4 threshold 90

#mobile station minimum-rate 1.0

for more info check :

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/aironet-1130-ag-series/113198-wgb-roam-config.html
