Hi everyone.

Is it possible to deploy Wi-Fi location srvice on outdoor? For example Cisco Hyperlocation.

I think the answer must be YES from a technical point of view.

but.... because

- WIFi signal reaches further in open space

- AP placement cannot be too dense outside

your cell size tends to be larger which decreases reliable location calculation.

you need careful planning for AP placement.
