    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Linksys X2000 modem. Why does my internet go down several times a day? My provider is Century Link and I have already called them. They say all is well on their end, so it must be my modem. I reset and sometimes it pops right back and other times it takes an hour or more.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is connection status appear in your modem? connected or not?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you connecting from wired or wireless side when you check internet connectivity? is it same problem from both wired and wireless? test both please and confirm.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it is only from wireless side it could be interference/noise or any other RF/802.11 issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it is in both sides you need to check connectivity status on the modem and possibly check the logs and see if there is anything useful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Consider also change the connection (phone,WAN) to the modem. connect from some other where to eliminate any cabling issues with the phone network.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HTH&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Amjad&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
