topic WiSM Clustering - Configuration Guide? in Wireless

I have been looking for information on best practices/configuration examples on how to cluster two WiSMs in either one 6509 chassis, or one WiSM in one 6509, and the other in a separate 6509. THe 6509s are connected via HSRP and both are located at the site.

How would I setup the service IP addressing for each WiSM if they were in different 6509's? Do the WiSMs cluster strictly via the mobility group settings in the GUI console?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

On the WiSM the service port is only used to keep the synchronization between the SUP and the module. The only thing that needs to be done to get the WiSM to be "clustered" is to configure the mobility groups.

Keep in mind that when you configure mobility groups no configuration is passed across this link.

So it seems that the term "cluster" when it comes to a WiSM is a substitution for "mobility group" - and that the clustering of the WiSMs is completed strictly through the software on the WiSMs?
