NCS WLAN Template error

Hi guys,

I am trying to apply WLAN template from NCS to two WLCs 5508 and I receive this message.

"Another WLAN with same SSID and either WPA1/ WPA2/ WPA1+WPA2 is enabled. Please change the Layer 2 security policy."

The template has layer 2 security with WPA+WPA2 enable and 802.1x.

I have other WLAN template with other name and other SSID with the same security policies with no problem to apply.

Did somebody know this error?

Make sure ssid name in the template is not already exist on the WLC or the WCS.

Remove any duplicates and try again. If you try to change config on a wlan

hat is already exist but not able to then try disabling the wlan before making any changes.

The problem is ok now.

NCS was keeping information about older wlan with the same name that doesn´t exist on controller.

I did audit controller to solve this issue.
