RF Network-Name Question

I have a single controller on a number of different sites with all the controllers having the same mobility group name. Is best practice to have the RF network-name the same on all controllers as well or should I have a different RF network-name per site. I ask because there seems to be some difference of opinions on this. I always thought that a controller does not need to know about any APs it isn't directly managing.

Shouldn't make a difference, if they're at different sites they won't be forming any RF groups anyway.
