Hi,

I'd like to create a plugin for a WebEx conference that will, modify the chat (suppress/generate/translate/etc') where do I start with that? There are XML and URL APIs for pre and post meeting manipulations but not for ongoing meeting.

Thanks Nathan,

Do I understand you right and there is no option to create custom WebEx client? Two more questions then:

1. Are there any hooks/options for creating additional proprietary traffic through WebEx or alternative servers that will be associated with the meeting?

2. Is it possible to incorporate widget like application that will be available during the meeting on the WebEx conference web page?

Hello,

The WebEx client is a closed application. You may be able to sniff out local process information and automate some UI script, but there are no published or known hooks. The WebEx meeting service does allow for sharing desktop view, application view, web page view, push individual web page control, document share. Each of the views can also support remote control from a single source. There is no widget support, but again, you may be able to automate some UI scripting, although no support would be available for scripting issues.
