Hello,

I am completely new to CUCM (but I am a programmer) and I am about to write a simple JTAPI middleware to monitor calls.

So I have reserved a development sandbox with CUCM 12.0 and there:

- I have added an Application User and granted him all available permissions

- I have added two Cisco 7945 phones (SCCP) using the default settings.

- I have added DNs for these two phones.

- I have assigned the phones to the App User I created.

- I am able to run the JTAPI Test Tool, I can connect with my Application User and I can see his assigned Addresses.

I am using the Test Tool and I am trying to make a call from one phone to the other but this fails with an CiscoTermOutOfServiceEv.

Also the makecall example gives the same event and the calls don't work.

Probably this is due to the phones setup which never appear as Registered.

So my overal question is what configuration is needed in order to have a working sandbox testbed for doing prototyping

work for call monitoring?

Thank you in advance.

Vagelis
