Silent Monitoring & Monitoring CSS in supervisor phone

Hi,

My CUCM version is 8.6.2.

Our customer has same DN on device and EM device profile with different partition e.g. PAR1 on device and PAR2 in device profile for EM login.

We have created one monitoring CSS (Monitor_CSS) which has both partition PAR1 & PAR2. Application start monitoring request only work for the phone whose partition is at first position in Monitor_CSS. I tried with changing the sequence in Monitor_CSS and it only works for one partition. Can you please suggest me if there is any specific configuration or known bug with specific version of cucm/phone firmware.

Is the monitoring CSS configured on the line of the supervisor?

Yes Monitor_CSS assigned on supervisor line Monitoring CSS.

Hi Umesh,

Can you tell me which phone model are you using so that I can try to reproduce the issue? Does it have the latest firmware? Is your application using the JTAPI client downloaded from CUCM 8.6.2?

Do you have the agent's line configured so that if they are logged in with EM, then Forward No Answer is sent to the same DN but a different CSS where PAR2 is listed first?

Or did you configure that a different way?
