Is there any documentation anywhere describing how Cisco TAPI Wave works other than just the API functions? Is there any example code?

But Cisco announces the end-of- Availability for the Cisco TAPI Wave Driver.

Developer Partners are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco TAPI Media Driver. Information about this product can be found in the Cisco TAPI Developer Guide 8.0(1) and later posted here:http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_programming_reference_guides_list.html.

Unfortunately the site where this is being implemented is running CUCM version 6.1 so the media driver is not an option.
