Hello There - Am I right in expecting a new GID in blind transferring to same DN where the original was placed ?

The scenario:

1. User1(DN1) made a call to User2(DN2)

2. User2(DN2) answered the call

3. User1(DN1) blind transferring to DN1, (I know, why would any one want to do to the transfer to same destination )

On step3, I am getting the Same GID and couldn't able to cover the Alerting Scenario for DN1/Terminal1.

CUCM version: 9.1

JTAPI Ver: 6.1

What API(s) did you use to perform "blind transfer"?

I think you should upgrade JTAPI to the version available with CUCM 9.1.

Thanks mohan, I am not sure we can update the JTAPI version easily in the

environment.

we are relying on CiscoCall#transfer for blind transfer, but will it be a

new GID or same GID in this scenario

call.transfer(String dest) will have the same GCID.
