How to login ipphone using userid and pin instead of user id only ?

Hi there,

I've succeeded in doing the login operation using tutorial from this site
Cisco DevNet

Then I want to know, is there a way to login using userID and PIN instead of using the userID only? Because login only using the UserID is not secure.

I'm not sure I understand the question. You're referring to Extension Mobility, correct? It uses the PIN set for the user. Did you set a PIN for the user?

Owh i am sorry I forgot to mention, I mean do the login using third party program, not using the Ip-Phone Thank you.

What third party program are you talking about? Do you know how it performs the login process?
