I just wanted post the issue that , I have come across during the installation of Expressway C

Issue :Unable to add unified communication Server in Expressway C

Error : " Unable to communicate with CUCM IP/Hostname. AXL query HTTP error "'HTTPError:503'"

Cause : 503 seems to indicate AXL is applying a throttle due to a too-busy situation.

Error from AXL logs : " Module="network.axl" Level="ERROR" Action="Received" URL="CUCM URL" Function="listCallManager" Status="503" Reason="None"
CodeLocation="ucqueryrun(133)" Detail="AXL error"

Solution: Please apply below steps

1) Restart the CUCM AXL service and Cisco Tomcat Service on all nodes, then restart Expressway-C and then try to add CUCM.
2) If it still fails, in CUCM enterprise parameters set 'enable caching' to true and restart Cisco Tomcat Services.
3) Finally, reboot the CUCM cluster if all of the above does not work.

In my case steps 2 worked.

Please rate helpful post.
