APIC-EM Inventory Sync with PI?

Hi folks,

Just wonder if there is an integration somewhere to sync the device inventory with Prime Infrastructure.

Or is there an import tool to import a CSV/seedfile of devices in APIC-EM. The use case here is that the management IP's are not continuous, so can't simply specify an IP range to do discovery, have to do one by one.

If this sync is possible, is it one way(PI->EM) or two way(PI<->EM)?

APIC-EM is 1.3.1 and PI is 3.1.

Thanks in advance,

Quentin

Hi Quentin,

you can go APIC-EM -> PI, via API but not the other way today.

One way you could do it, is via a python script that reads a csv (or even direct to PI) and then uses APIC-EM API to create discovery jobs.

If you are interested i could show you a sample.

Adam
