Hi Guys,

We are on APIC-EM 1.4.3.1009. the majority of our switch is C3750X, C3850X and C3560X. core switch is C4500X.

it seems the path trace is not working properly in our environment. normally we got error below:

1. Not able to locate unique interface or host for source ip address X.X.X.Xle to

On our another site, it seems all our equipment is connected to one specific switch A when we doing path trace on APIC-EM, no matter where they actually are. I access that switch and find out IPDT has been enabled globally. the switch is WS-C3750X-48P on15.2(1)E2. I am guessing IPDT cause the problem. not sure if am right.

here are my questions:

what technology is behind APIC-EM path trace? what configuration i should put on our switch to make sure APIC-EM work properly?

thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Bright
