If you try to get node inside collapsed nodeSet, the getNode method returns undefined (&lt;A href="https://jsfiddle.net/ndsar6ty/1/" title="https://jsfiddle.net/ndsar6ty/1/"&gt;GetNode - JSFiddle&lt;/A&gt;).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
