Meraki device alerting data

Hello community,

I am able to pull the device alerting status as part of the device status but it does not include the information of why the device is alerting, how do I pull the device alerting data that is shown in the Meraki dashboard, where this data is stored?

Unfortunately, Meraki does not expose full alert details (the exact reason) through the API in the same structured way it's shown in the dashboard.

As @John-on-API says - also explore the other endpoints in the 'alerts' category as they include ones to get the possible types (which could change over time.)

In spare moments I've been looking at these as a way of improving SLA/related reporting as it's richer info than the 'availability' endpoints.
