Hello community,

Previously i have set up the monitoring of upstream/downstream/total bandwidth monitoring per network in zabbix just using Meraki API endpoint: http://api.meraki.com/api/v1/networks/{$NETWORKID}/appliance/uplinks/usageHistory?resolution=60&timespan=300 .

Recently i've got the task to monitor ISP speed / Gateway bandwidth. Since MX appliance is actually functionates as gateway as well am i right that retrieving bandwidth value on MX appliance via requesting following endpoint:

/devices/{serial}/liveTools/speedTest/{id} i can get the bandwidth of an entire network? Or am i wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help

That is an active test. It will use as much of your bandwidth as it can (meaning there is less available for you to use).

This is something you would want to run infrequently, rather than regularly.
