Yes @jjabson, should work the same. I just confirmed, ran a quick Postman test to get the FW rules off my Z1 appliance using GET https://api.meraki.com/api/v0/networks/:networkId/l3FirewallRules and it worked fine.

Hi,

I have an app that gets access rules, interface data form MX devices. I'm looking at the API docs for support on the Z-series devices. I don't see any APIs for getting access-rules, VPN, VLANs, etc.. similar to the MX. Since the Z-series are Firewalls, will the MX specific APIs work for the Z-series?

Thank you,

-Jerome

The basic things work yes, however if you want to do something on the wireless then you will face some problems. Same like the MX67 or MX68.... They have a different chips set and you are not able to change the wireless network configs. At least not the way you are used to with the MR series
