Why do some APIs return ' No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present' error?

Hi,

We are trying to hit Meraki dashboard API endpoints using NodeJS and Python. For some API endpoints we get an error saying, ' No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'null' is therefore not allowed access.' Therefore, we are unable to use these API endpoints. We noticed this error in the following endpoints,

POST https://dashboard.meraki.com/api/v0/networks/[networkId]/devices/claim

PUT https://dashboard.meraki.com/api/v0/organizations/[organizationId]/networks

DEL https://dashboard.meraki.com/api/v0/networks/[id]

We are able to hit these endpoints successfully with Postman client/cURL. Only when we try to hit them from JavaScript/Python code, we get this error.

Please let me know how to resolve this.

If you are still experiencing the problem, try looking at an earlier post on this topic.

No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' on calls to apidemoeu.webex.com
