topic Connect in OpenDNS

Hi!

I bought F-Secure Freedom and tried it yesterday. I can´t get it to connect to internet.

I have OpenDNS in my modem/router. OpenDNS Updater on the computer. Also OpenDNS Crypt, but that one should not be active on my laptop on which I tried Freedom.

I run Avast Premier on the computer.

I tried to run Avast SecureLine and that worked perfectly.

Any suggestions to what could be the problem?

You had to disable Avast's Secure DNS, right?

I took the OpenDNS settings from my modem/router.

After that F-Secure Freedome works perfectly.

On the computer I left OpenDNS Crypt and OpenDNS Updater and it connects via them as soon as I close Freedome.

The strange thing was that Avast SecureLine worked with the OpenDNS setting in the modem/router.

So Avast SecureLine would had been the better alternative, but I got such a good deal for the Freedome, that I got that.

I let Avast Premier be as it was...
