The secondary network gateway on SVI can't be used

Hello,

in transit to a new network address system, having need to provide two subnets on the same SVI:

interface Vlan50
ip address 10.1.2.30 255.255.255.224 secondary (GW for the new network)
ip address 10.0.100.254 255.255.255.0 (GW for the old one)

Then, having a Windows system in the 10.1.2.0 /27 network, configured like this:

IP address: 10.1.2.1
Mask: 255.255.255.224
Gateway: 10.1.2.30

The obstacle is, the system always try to use the 10.0.100.254 gateway (which is given as primary on SVI), instead of its native one (10.1.2.30)

It could be seen when doing a tracert on the system to an outer address.

But when the system TCP/IP properties are reconfigured like this:

IP address: 10.0.100.20
Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 10.0.100.254

the problem is totally gone.

Still, the address system transition plan demands using the secondary gateway, which is in fact being ignored.

Could it be assumed that some logic on SVI does force all the packets from its both subnets to the only primary gateway, and as far as ones originating from the secondary do not match at primary gateway, those are being rejected?

Are there any sence in such an assumption?

And which ways the obstacle could be overcomed?

Thanks in advance!
