Typhoon/Tomahawk LC 上のポートに shape rate の設定を行った場合に、以下のように commit が失敗する場合があります。

show configuration failed を実行することで、commit が失敗した箇所と、その理由を確認することができます。

コマンドの出力にある通り、Typhoon LC で Child/Flat policy を利用して、 shape rate の設定を行う場合、4Gbps の制限がありそれを超えてしまっているために、commit がはじかれています。
この制限については、Tomahawk LC でも同様となります。
上記例のように Flat policy を使うのではなく、H-QOS を使用して Grand Parent/Parent policy に shape rate の設定をする場合は、上記の制限はありません。
また、上記例では sub-interface に shape rate を設定していますが、下記の条件を全て満たしている場合についても、4G の制限は受けません。
- 適用 policy が Flat/one level policy であること
- 適用 policy が class-default のみを含むこと
- shape が該当の class-default 内で唯一の action であること
- それらが物理ポートに適用されていること
