Re: Mobility Express 初期設定について

Mobility Express の初期設定について質問です。

無線AP：AIR-AP1832I-Q-K9

構築のマニュアルを参照しましたが、電源ONにて初期設定用 SSID : CiscoAirProvisionが

ブロードキャストされるので、PCより接続しGUIで設定するとございます。

電源を投入すると何度も再起動を繰り返してしまい、初期設定用 SSID : CiscoAirProvisionに接続できません。

SSIDをずっとモニタしていますが、時々SSID：CiscoAirProvisionを発見しますが

すぐに再起動してしまいます。

CLIで初期設定できそうですが、マニュアルが見つからないためGUIでの初期設定を検討しています。

CLIでログインすればに設定を確認/変更できそうですが、上記同様に再起動してしまいます。

コントローラを探しているのだとは思いますが、上記事象を回避する方法はございませんでしょうか。

参考までに起動直後に採取したログを送付します。

夏季以外に必要なログがあれば、ご指定ください。

こんにちは。

再起動を繰り返している時のコンソールのログがあるともっとわかるかもしれません。

AP Image type : MOBILITY EXPRESS IMAGE
AP Configuration : MOBILITY EXPRESS CAPABLE

とあるので、Mobility Express のイメージで動いていることは間違い無いようです。

一方で、

Last Joined Controller name: WLC2504

ともあり、AIR-CT2504-K9 に過去に Join したことがあるかのようにも見えます。

時折 CiscoAirProvision が発見できるということなので、一旦は Master AP として起動しているものの、ネットワークに CAPWAP Discovery Request に応答する WLC が存在することに気づき、自律的に再起動している可能性があるかもしれないと思いました。

この AP が接続しているサブネットに、Mobility Express ではなく通常の WLC (AIR-CT2504-K9 など) は存在していませんか？

あるいは、この AP が接続しているポートが trunk になっており、trunk が関連する別のサブネットに通常の WLC は存在していませんか？

同じサブネットにある場合は、一度その WLC の電源を落とすなどして応答しないようにしてみてください。

ポートが trunk になっている場合は access に変えてみて、確実に近くに他の WLC、あるいは他の Master AP がいない状態を作ってみてください。

ご指摘いただいた点も含めて、再確認した内容は下記となります。

無線APを接続している他社製POEスイッチは構築用部材のため、まだ設定を投入しておらず

全ポートがアクセスポートであることも確認しました。

上記POEスイッチに新しい無線AP1台のみを接続して起動してみましたが、同様の現象でした。

コンソールのログを送付させていただきますので、ご確認いただけますでしょうか。

このログが怪しいですね。

そのスイッチに DHCP サーバは接続されていますか？

接続されていない場合は Master AP の内部 DHCP サーバを使う必要があるのですが、その切り替わりが上手くいっていないように見えます。その昔、Mobility Express では外部 DHCP サーバは必須でしたので、、、

アクセスポートの VLAN で、スイッチの SVI などを利用して外部 DHCP サーバを立てることはできますか？もちろん通常のウィンドウズや Cisco PNR などの外部 DHCP サーバを接続しても構いません。

これで解決しないようであれば TAC へお問い合わせください。

ご返信ありがとうございます。

社内で別のPOEスイッチを使用したところ、再起動の繰り返しがなくなり

SSID"CiscoAirProvision"に接続することができました。

初期設定のGUIにもログインできましたので、明日以降は設定を進めることができそうです。

追加でもう一点ご教授ください。

"CiscoAirProvision"に接続し、ブラウザの初期設定ウィザードより

パラメータを入力して再起動しましたが、設定したSSIDに接続できません。

正確には、再起動後のAP(コントローラ)のランプが赤色点滅となります。

"CiscoAirProvision"、設定したSSIDともに見つからない状況です。

初期化して再度設定しても状況変わりませんでした。

コンソールで接続し、いくつかログを取得しておりますのでご確認いただけますでしょうか。

何度もお手数おかけして申し訳ございませんが、原因、回避方法を教えてください。

[参考]

POEスイッチにデフォルトゲートウェイのIPアドレスを設定をしています。

各インターフェースをアクセスポート、トランクポートそれぞれで確認しましたが

現象変わりませんでした。

ログの以下の部分が気になったのですが、Provision SSIDによる初期設定が完了する前にCLIでautoinstallを終了されたためにProvisioning SSIDが消えているのではないでしょうか？的外れでしたらすみません。

何度か再起動してみましたが、現象変わりませんでした。

CLIで何も操作せずに(autoinstallを終了せずに)起動したパターンもあります。

現象が回避できなかったので、APを初期化して再設定すると接続できました。
