AMP - AV Update message

Hello, I have a silly question, on dashboard of AMP for Endpoints > Management > Computers, it says that a number specific of computers need AV Update, but what´s the minning of this??  Something with connector or identifies that need a third party AV software??

If the issue is with connector, how can I fix this??

Regards,

Juan Carlos Arias

That is referencing the TETRA definition sets.  Computers are (by default) set to update their definitions once an hour.  If they have checked in and the version they  have is not the latest version, they wills how up in that list.  If you click on the number for that category, it should run a sync to ensure you're seeing the latest data but the endpoints that need an update are typically the ones that have been offline for a while.  Shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Thanks,

Matt

What would cause a computer to show up in this list that does have the latest update? We have several computers showing up in the "Need AV Update" list, but their definitions are up to date.

This could be due to portal updates that are running few time a day to sync the data. It should eventually cleared out on its own with in few hours. Additionally you can set your own threshold under Accounts --- > Organization Settings
