Hi @Ibrahim Jamil ,

I partially covered this in this post:  https://community.cisco.com/t5/application-centric-infrastructure/what-is-command-to-save-config-in-aci/m-p/4689268/highlight/true#M12889

But that doesn't explain WHY the simulator doesn't save the config.  And to be honest, to find that out you'd have to talk to the developers.  It could be a number of reasons

  1. The sim may store the config in RAM to keep it efficient. And the developers didn't bother writing special extra code to keep the simulator config as part of shutdown!
  2. It may have been designed that way, simply to stop people building massive systems on the simulator.  I do know that if you leave the simulator running for a long time(weeks) it has a tendency to lock up
  3. It may have been a way of making the code more efficient
  4. It may be some other reason I haven't thought of!

Probably option 4 above is the most likely, but only the developers know.

In the meantime, you have to live with it.
