I am currently in the process of designing and installing an ACI Multi-Pod that will include two pods with back-to-back spines (released in version 5.2(3))
I have looked through the various data sheets, whitepapers and configuration guides for spines back-to-back, and I cant see if there are any requirements to support this setup such as do the B2B links need to be directly connected between spines over dark fibre/DWDM or can the connections be logically carried over an exiting L2 network (such as EoMPLS), is it recommended to connect the spines in full mesh etc? I'm also assuming that the latency between pods doesn't change when using B2B vs IPNs and the max latency should be no higher than 50ms?
