ACI Same Encap in Different Tenants

Hello,

I have 2 different Tenants.

I created an EPG in each tenant and different associated a static port with the same vlan encap for each EPG.

I got an error that the encap is already in use in a different EPG although they are in different tenants.

How can i solve this problem and keep on using the same vlan tag?

This is the reason that they added the per-port VLAN feature back in about version 1.1 or 1.2.

To activate it, you'll need to create a L2 Interface Policy

FABRIC > ACCESS POLICIES > Policies > Interface Policies > Policies > L2 Interface >+ Create L2 Interface Policy.

Name: PerPort-VLAN.Scope
Scope: Port Local Scope

Then add this policy to the Access Policy Group that you have associated with the ports in question.

You'll find all you need to know in a blog post I wrote some time ago https://rednectar.net/2016/12/11/cisco-aci-per-port-vlan-feature/

I hope this helps
