ACI Simulator 4.2.3g version root default password

Hello,

we are just starting with Cisco ACI simulator and  need root password to perform some command like tcpdump.

using admin account, we cannot perform tcpdump or ping command. we have permission denied prompted

do anybody know the default password for root on aci simulator

Root password can only be obtained from TAC with a challenge response key.

Hi @doretteS ,

Remember that this is a simulator.  Even if you get the root password, commands like tcpdump may not produce the same kind of output that you's see on a real APIC.  Especially when you consider that no actual traffic flows in the Sim, so the only real traffic you could look at is from say you management PC to the APIC - in which case you simply run tcpdump on your management PC to get exactly the same stream.
